DIY Easter Egg Decorative Bag

Easter is 8 weeks away and sometimes we spend so much time over thinking the little ones.  Yes almost all of us have little ones that are either our own kids, nieces, nephews and/or grand kids that are too young for chocolate treats.  Now let us clarify what I mean of little ones.  The children that are under the age of 3.  Yes the ones that still do not have a grasp of the Easter Bunny or Easter Egg hunt.

What do you get these little under 3 children for Easter?

Well I’ve learned after spending countless hours at every store you could possibly think of brainstorming gift ideas that the best gift for these little guys is exactly what they like.  Yes you heard it correctly.  I created these cute egg treat boxes that hold a gift card.  After all these are kids that have been drowning in toys and clothes and nothing helps a mom out is giving them a gift card so that they can get something the child really needs.  I then added toddler mum-mum’s in the package.  Closed it up and voila!

All you need to make this cute egg box is….

Some Designer Series Paper or patterned paper and some card stock.  To make this I used my Scan n Cut.  The template was found in the free brother canvas template library. But I need to admit it is not difficult to make at all.  It is just an egg shape put over a box.

Now remember, I used my scan and cut, however, below I listed substitutes for the rabbit in case you do not have a e-cutter.
