DIY Carrot Favor Treat Box

Ever since my kids started school I have learned that the holidays during the school year come and go very quickly.  I feel like I am constantly thinking of cute creative treat holders or loot bags for the next holiday.  It’s fun putting these special treats for all the kids in our lives, but sometimes I wish they were more spread out.  After all it was just last week I was creating Valentine treat holders for their classmates and here I am four days after Valentine’s and I am already thinking of Easter treat holders.  I love the way it just shows Easter all over it and it is so easy and quick to make.

First….

I chose some designer series paper. You can not go wrong with Designer Series Paper.  The pretty pattern just completes the project all together.  I used the Nature’s Poem Designer series paper.

Next….

I traced, and cut the pattern.  Cut a circle using the Layering Circle Framelit. One circle was cut using the whisper white cardstock and a larger circle was cut using the retired Old Olive cardstock.  Substitute Old Olive with the Call me clover cardstock.   I stamped the sentiment with the retired Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set, but you can use the Fable Friends Stamp Set.  For the flower I used the Springtime Impressions thinlits and the butterfly with the leaves from the Butterfly Beauty thinlits.  I adhered everything together and used some Tea Room Ribbon Combo.  Once assembled, fill them with your favorite treats.
