DIY Valentine’s Day Shaker Card

Welcome to Day 3 of 12 Days of Valentine’s Day.  If you missed the first two days scroll down to click the links below. Today I am going to share a DIY Valentine’s Day Shaker Card. I love making shaker cards! They seem difficult and time consuming but these DIY Valentine’s Day shaker cards are very easy and quick to make.  I just love the interactive glittery effect it has when you shake it.  It reminds me of balloons on your birthday.  It just gives that special, feel good feeling.

DIY Valentine's Day Shaker Card

To make this card I used whisper white cardstock for the background.  For the frame of the card I used the garden impressions designers series paper.  I took the heart and the love framelit from the sunshine wishes framelits, some rose glimmer paper for the heart, and a window sheet to cover the gap.  I then used the sale-a-bration grapefruit grove & lovely lipstick foil sheet. Foam was used to adhere the dsp to the card base and I stamped the sentiment and used the small dimensions to place on the card.  Voila! A sparkly Valentine’s Day shaker card.
